"The selfie stick is the lightning rod of narcissism" - Howard Jacobson
I thought that selfie taking had become common place here in the UK over the past few years but we still have nothing on South Korea, a nation who seem to have eyes  permanently glued to the screens of their phones whether walking down a busy street, eating or riding the subway.
Any experience of life during the day can not pass by without being documented with the obligatory selfie, quite often from the lofty angle of the said "selfie stick".
